Curado 300K
Tournament-tough quality and superb dependability, Shimano built the Curado 300 for anglers who aren’t just chasing fish but those targeting quality over quantity. Incorporating a deep 300-size spool intended for heavy-pound line and the needed capacity for extra-long casts, the Curado 300 features a long handle with wide-grip knobs to provide anglers with the extra power that’s necessary when pulling on big fish. At the backbone of the Curado 300 lies its rigid HAGANE Body that prevents flex when that giant finally decides to commit. Available in two gear-ratio options — a standard 4.7:1 and an HG 6.6:1 — the Curado 300 allows anglers to find the right reel to match their fishing style and needs. Engineered with power in mind, the standard 4.7:1 model pulls double-duty for anglers fishing slower, methodical presentations, or when fishing with Alabama rigs or magnum crankbaits. The HG’s 6.6:1 gear ratio provides a slightly faster retrieve and is ideal for anglers aggressively working baits or for quickly picking up topwater slack. Built to fish big baits for big fish, Shimano created the Curado 300 to perform and never back down.
Shimano Curado DC
Built on the legacy of durability, dependability and versatility that Curado is known for, now with Shimano's unique DC braking technology. Shimano’s new Digital Control braking system utilizes a microcomputer to monitor spool speed 1,000 times every second and apply the perfect amount of brake to prevent backlash and maximize distance. Anglers of all skill levels will appreciate less thumbing and trouble-free casting in all conditions.
Shimano Tranx A
The Tranx incorporates Shimano’s CoreProtect concept that maintains a smooth and free feel while winding. It is ideally suited to both fresh and salt, ranging from light jigging, soft plastic use or casting hard body lures. Tranx reels not only fit beautifully in the hand, they are packed with more than enough drag capacity and saltwater durability, the Tranx is at the next level.
SLX DC
The SLX DC utilizes Shimano’s Digital Control (DC) braking system as the star element of this reel. The SLX DC offers four adjustable settings that enables anglers to fish a wide variety of lures of different shapes and sizes, in all weather conditions. The newest SLX will also feature the Hagane Body which helps to ensure that the reel is extremely rigid and durable, meaning that all movement results in smooth, yet strong cranking power. With a 48mm Throw Handle across three right and one HG left hand model options, featuring gear ratios of 6.3:1, 7.2:1 (HG) and 8.2:1 (XG), this means that the slow and methodical lure worker and those who likes a bit of speed will be even more impressed with the new DC series.
Vanford
The all new Vanford is designed to become the ultimate finesse fishing reel with a super-fast start up. Replacing the iconic Stradic Ci4+, this reel is equipped with a range of technology upgrades that sets the Vanford apart. Still drawing upon a lightweight Ci4+ body construction, the new MGL rotor makes the reel 48% lighter to turn when compared to a standard rotor design. Micromodule Gear II and Silent Drive is featured in the new Vanford and the Hagane Gear has been upgraded for added strength. X-Protect provides high-level water resistance without sacrificing light gear and rotor rotation. This has increased the durability of the Vanford’s roller clutch and line roller to an IPX8 standard. By incorporating the new Long Stroke Spool design, casting performance has also been improved.
