In 2015 Daiwa introduced a new range of colours in the Double Clutch arsenal to suit a range of different species. Traditionally the Double Clutch has been a legendary lure on the ABT Bream tournament circuit, particularly in Tasmania and Victoria, and gaining popularity in the Northern States, for bass, estuary perch, golden perch, and flathead. The Double Clutch’s unique bib design and slender profile cause the lure to track straight and deep making this one of the best slim jerk bait around. Featuring the Daiwa Silent Gravity Oscillation system (S-GOS), the lure contains a tungsten weight that slides to the rear of the lure along a wire to shift the weight to the tail to achieve accurate, bullet-like casts.
The Daiwa Double Clutch hard body lure dives down to 1.5 meters on a straight crank and 3 meters when twitched, while it suspends on the pause enticing fish into striking. When retrieved, the S-GOS weight shifts to a position that optimizes the wobble of the lure but when cranked hard and fast, the weight shifts to the front for increased balance and deeper diving.
To enhance the finesse appeal of the Double Clutch IZM lure, noise from the sliding weight is minimized by dampening washers that absorb the impact.
New for the Double Clutch in 2015, is a fresh range of colors to complement the 3D realistic eyes, ultra sharp chemically sharpened trebles and internally painted bodies, resulting in an incredible lifelike finish.

The Daiwa Double Clutch IZM 75SP-G is best fished with a light rod, a good example of a combo to fish the Double Clutch 70 with would be a Daiwa Legalis LT or Exceller LT in 2500 or 3000 size matched with a TD Hyper Rod in either 701LXS or 702LXS and J Braid of 8lb to 12lb would suit perfectly. A combo like this will give you the best casting and get you the most out of your Double Clutch 70 lure and will double as a good Fresh and Salt water combo.
