Using only the latest Fuji guides that make casting a breeze, all Venom Crank Bait rods are built in the Wilson factory to exacting standards to ensure every Crank Bait that arrives in the hands of an angler is the best rod they’ll ever own.

The 6’3″ (baitcast) and 6’5″ (spin) lengths give these rods the ability to cast long, yet still retain accuracy and with four models in the baitcasting range and three in the spin range, everything from lightweight lipless crankbaits through to the heaviest of surface lures and spinnerbaits can be cast.

The split rear grip gives the rods unparalleled balance and the parabolic action of the blanks lends these rods perfectly to use with braided lines. The parabolic action absorbs the lunges and  headshakes of the fish keeping the hooks firmly locked in place.

BAITCASTERS

The Crank Bait PE 2-4 is widely considered as the most versatile rod in the Crank Bait range. With the ability to cast smaller lures all the way up to lures of about 60g, the PE 2-4 is a staple for many cod and barra anglers. Rated for lines between 20-40lb, this versatile rod is equally at home delivering 75mm hardbodies to snags for barra and jacks as it is fishing 200mm surface lures for cod – and it has the grunt to tame any fish hooked.

Getting up into the big boys toys, the Crank Bait PE 3-5 is a true brute of a rod. Rated for lines between 30-50lb, the PE 3-5 has the stopping power to make any hook-up a successful hook-up. Retaining the parabolic action of the lighter Crank Bait, the PE 3-5 is the rod to use when big fish eating big lures is on the cards. This rod will cast lures up to 90g in weight (about 3oz) and not tire out the user.

The Crank Bait PE 3-6 is a real weapon of a rod. Able to cast weights up to 130g, this rod still has the sensitivity to feel the tail of a plastic swimbait pulsing as it’s retrieved. But its real strength is when Mr Big comes along and crunches that big lure. Power to control the fish, an action to leave the hooks in place and a weight that means you barely know you’re using the rod all mean this is one of the big fish weapons in the range.

SPIN

The Crank Bait Spin 1 delivers power and finesse in a threadline set up. Ideal for throwing mid-weight lures for just about anything that swims, the Crank Bait Spin 1 is a real work horse.

The Crank Bait Spin 2 is a tough stick that will fish line classes from 15-40lb yet still has a tip action that allows anglers to fish plastics and hardbodies with their desired action. Built to accommodate anglers fishing in heavy cover for barramundi, where it’s vital to get the fish out quickly, the Crank Bait Spin 2 is an ideal set up.

If it’s mean and nasty you’re chasing then the Crank Bait Spin 3 is the stick you’ll need. Able to deliver large lures long distances and retain the power needed to control brutish fish like impoundment barramundi and oversized Murray cod, this rod is a real weapon of choice for serious anglers being suited to 20-50lb line.
